Hell, my Fiat's slower than that, and it's still a blast to drive.
7secs out of a Camry sounds a bit far fetched to me anyways...also, I still say 7.7 is far from slow!

yeah sundays was a good one, paul mckenna hypnotised "the shirt". He forgot how to drive! They then convinced him that a toy 911 was his brand new one and jerermy crashed into it. ooh so funny.

They based the whole show around "Bling" even put an escalde on test "drive" is to strong a word but you get the idea.

I know about the lighting differences, The US Focus has two orange sidelights in the radiator grill, that or they are the indicators, I just assumed they were sidelights due to moth US cars having lights like that (like Volvo's have....on the side of them...)

And I didn't see Top Gear on Sunday night if that's the episode you are refering to!

Hey I didnt say it wasn't fun to drive. It prob is. I am just saying there isn't much in the way of getting thrown back into your seat as you hit the gas.

IMO Ford had its chance to do this with the ford probe. This was supposed to be the new mustang but plans were changed. The least they could have done was give it a powertrain similar to that of the old mustang SVO's with turbocharged 4 cylinders. I have owned 2 mustang 5.0 liters and loved them very much....I am now building a 93 Probe and have to say, Ford really dropped the ball on this car, handles nice and its pretty to look at....if ford would have thought it through the probe could have been the American Import Killer.

Question ?

Here is a question for you guys:

We are talking about import killers, would a Plymoth Laser or an Eagle Talon count in this department?? They were pretty fast in their day, and you can mod the heck out of them if you want. The only catch it they are largly Mitsubishi thus are they really an American import killer????

The same goes for the Dogde Stealth AKA Mitsu 3000gt

you know I tried looking up stats for that car online and came up blank. I might try harder. 7 seems fast but that is the general trend of cars nowadays.
