1989 honda accord, water pump

what is the proceedure for changing the water pump in a 1989 Honda Accord? Also, what is the timing belt changing proceedure. i would like to do the repairs myself with my dad, but cannot find a proceedure online.

Go to Autozone and buy yourself a Haynes or Chiltons manual for your car, you'll be glad you did.

If you really want to do it, you may also ask your Dad if the dealer gave him a manual for your car. That would be of great help just like the previous post says.But I suggest that you let a pro do it. I heard that it's not really a hard job but it really needs skill and is very time-consuming.Besides, it might cause greater damage to the engine and to the other honda accord parts if you really insist to do it.

Just make sure that you do it(the replacement) when you think the belt is already worn out and is about to break. That is, before it breaks.
