Holy crap! Man, don't let a few million 2002 fans hear you say that! That car is the single most influential sport sedan in the world, and a bona-fide classic. Simple germanic styling is about perfect.

I admit the BMW 2002 is a very good-looking car, especially one that's 20-30??? years old!

Wow, you people have named some extremely sexy cars!

The Ford GT, Porsche 911 GT3 and the new BMW 6 series are all gorgeous or badass looking cars, and I can't believe you dissed them.

However I agree on the Aztec...truly hideous.

My personal choice for ugliest car on the road (in North America): The Nissan Quest minivan.

Runners up: Toyota Echo hatchback.

What can I say? I just really don't like the 2002, I think its because a friend of mine has one that has been treated like a pile of crap over the years and shows it quite well.

Got any intelligent reasoning to back that up? Other than a drive to be insulting?

I agree with many of the perennial ugly car whipping boys like the:

-Pontiac Aztec (I've heard it refered to as a McDonald car because it's reminiscent of a Happy Meal box; and now that's stuck in my head every time I see one)

-Pontiac Vibe (It looks like a baby Aztec; You would think they would have learned)

-Scion xA/xB (do you want your ugly served up square or round?)

-Honda Element (because boxes with mis-matched fenders are sure to be a hit?)

-Toyota Prius (is there some law that says all hybrids must be ugly? Why can't a hybrid look like a normal car?)

-Saturn Ion (the design does not flow well at all; almost like they forgot to take the pre-production camoflage panels off of it...)

But I also find these two hideous and I think many people excuse or overlook that simply because they perform well:

-Mitsubishi Lancer EVO VIII

-Subaru Impreza WRX STi

Admit it, you wish they had different sheetmetal too...

I think the french bulldog is probably the ugliest dog i have ever seen. The sharpei runs it a close second though.
