Question Holley carb not listed on Holley site?

Hey guys,
I'd like to rebuild the carb for my 88 Ford Crown Vic police pkg (351 Windsor) but I can't find any information on it after several hours of researching. The carb is marked very clearly as a Holley with list# 80179 and date code 0404. I've looked at the Holley carb numerical listing at http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLine/CarbList.pdf but it skips over my list number . Any ideas on where I can get the information I need?

Thanks!

Note: here's a picture I found on eBay of a different model Holley carb that looks nearly identical to mine.

You could try www.rockauto.com

Whoops - you wanted info on the carb. I'll see if I can find you a haynes manual that covers your carb. What model is it? (like 1920 ect)

I'm not sure which model it is because it is not listed on the carb as far as I can tell. All I could find is the name "Holley," the list number and the date code. If the list number were listed on holley.com it would tell me the model number but it's not.

However, www.rockauto.com (suggested by lectroid) gives a list of carbs for my car. I'm not sure if mine is in the list but it lists 5 versions of the 2300 model and one 7200. By the way, would any of these carbs work on my car if I were to pick one up?

Thanks a ton for your help guys!

According to several sources, the Ford 351 W used in the 1988 Crown Vic (police package) had a Motorcraft 7200 VV. It is the same basic carb as the Motorccccraft 2700 VV except is is of a feedback design to work with the EEC-IV computer system

The Haynes manual will focus on the non-police Crown Vic with the 302 cid (5.0L) fuel injected V-8. It will not have much info on the Police Interceptor with the 351 Windsor V-8

I cant offer much more for this one

So if it's a Holley, it's a dual barrel right? If so, it's probably one of the following models: 5200, 5210/5220, 6500/6510/6520. The exact model should be in one of the following locations: On the intake (top) tower on the side. (choke tower).....and thats all I can tell you.

So tell me, did you by any remote chance Google "Caps lock" while you were at it?
