2005 Porsche 911

The next-generation Porsche 911 will debut in the second half of 2004 as a 2005 model, offered in 911 Carrera and 911 Carrera S versions.
The design is an evolution of the current 911 and retains the silhouette of the original 911 from more than 40 years ago. The new design features the return of oval headlights that are more upright than the current model, with separate turn signals in the bumper.

The Carrera will be powered by a 325-horsepower 3.6-liter horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder engine, while the Carrera S will receive a 355-horsepower 3.8-liter horizontally-opposed 6-cylinder unit. Both cars will receive a new 6-speed manual transmission.

The chassis has been improved and active suspension will be standard on the Carrera S.

I STILL THINK THE OLDER VERSION IS BETTER!

Slightly.

The front end looks to "Beetle-ish" to me...but I wouldn't complain having one!

yeah i know im a post whore, it has one already it pops up at 120kph / 74mph. Its a pain in the bum for the drivers over here because the limit is 70 so the coppers can pull them when they see it poping up.

I agree with weapon R.

I still really like the new design and it is funky

But the GT2 i think looks much better

Yep pain about the popin up spoilers as well its ok in some areas of germany where there isnt a speed limit on there roads but other places.

the hood pops up and before you know it bacons behind u with the flashing lights

but then again the car itself is german ja.

lol yer neerrr norrr ! Hey son pull over! BUSTED!

yea the new porsche still is cool and ive pretty much always loved em!

the concept porsche GT i think was unvailed at the geneva motor show and apparently many people thought it was car of the show. its certainly porsches fasest and probably most costly out the bunch.

but id love a 2002 RUF porsche R-Turbo then again id love $200,000 as well
