2005 Scion tC (part of Toyota)

Scion's new tC is designed to offer both style and performance of a level unprecedented in a car that is also a great value, according to Jim Farley, Scion vice president.
The tC includes premium features throughout that are more often found on luxury cars, such as a glass panorama moonroof, mirrors with built-in turn signals and a power hatch release.

Other driver-oriented standard equipment includes a 160-horsepower 2.4-liter engine, 5-speed manual transmission, 17-inch 6-spoke alloy wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and anti-lock brakes. A dealer-installed supercharger will be available to boost the power output to 200 horsepower.

The interior will offer generous passenger room and cargo capacity. The driverís seat includes height adjustment, thigh adjustment and a walk-in function with memory.

The rear 60/40 split seat includes three headrests and three-point seat belts for three passengers. The rear seatbacks can be reclined up to 45 degrees and adjusted to ten different positions. With the rear seats and the front passenger seat olded flat thereís room for cargo up to 8.5 feet long.

The interior also offers special details, including a material for the dash that was inspired by the texture of Japanese paper. The interior uses amber illumination, metal-tone trim and innovative instrumentation panel grains.

I CAN SEE LINES OF THE CORROLA.....A HOT HATCH?

Hey I thought no advertising on this site, heh... But it does look like a nice car. The first for Scion IMO. Looks like a nice blend of sport and sedan. One qualm I is that I don't like the name.. even Scion's symbol... but maybe it's cause it's just starting out. Why would Toyota create a new branch? Not really helping with purchase by the "young ppl"... like the Element.
