BMW help needed

I have a 1987 325 Bmw . It will turn over but not start, and it does not even sound like it is firing.
The battery went dead over night and I tried boosting it but no go , and before the battery went dead it ran fine.
What could be the problem?

Check the battery cells. Could be dry. Other than that, check all connections to the ignition system wiring. Make sure they're all connected properly.

Looking for hp gains on both, aftermarket body parts for the BMW. Hit me up if you got anything and maybe we can work something out.

May I suggest a new car, or would that be just annoying?

Hmm. Let's see...Are you sure then engine is reaching it's cranking speed? Your battery went dead overnight...make sure it's not draining overnight anymore. If it is then maybe there is a problem causing your battery to go dead and your engine not to start.

your problem could be fuel, make sure that pumps are pumping and also check your relays for the pumps.

yea there could be something wrong with the alternator especially since the battery battery went dead, also try new spark plugs, there is 100 things that could be happening though
your local shucks will test the alternator for you
