Saab Diesel?

My next-door neighbor got a new Saab 9-3 sedan. When I took a closer look, it said 2.2 TiD on the back, meaning it had a 2.2 litre turbo diesel, instead of the normal gas 2.0 Turbo. I was a little curious, so I checked the Saab website and it did NOT mention a diesel engine anywhere on the website. Does anybody have any ideas about this diesel-powered 9-3?

That makes sense, but I live in America, and I doubt they imported a diesel Saab from Europe. Thanks though, I was really curious.

2.2 TiD >> by ISUZU
Is the only thing I know about it. Also OPEL/Vauxhall uses this engine. It's about 125 bhp.

It cannot be so difficult. The instruction manual will tell me which pedal is the 'velocitator' and which one is the... 'deceleratrix' (by Mr. C.M. Burns)
May God bless those who have nothing to say and, furthermore, they keep quiet (by someone)
