i heard that there is an insurance company out there that lets you name the price of the vehicle and thats the insurance cost. like...

for example you got a hot rod 40 chevy something.

normally the car would have a value of like 900$ (not sure) but you restored it, hot rodded it, and what not. the insurance company will still pay 900$ even if you total it for the car's costs. but with the special insurance agency, you can say that your car (everything you spent on it, plus the value) is worth...lets say, 30k$. then it would be like insuring a 30k$ new car.

i cant remember the name of the company, but the vision is there. :?

Wow, I just saw this when R2D2 revived the thread. I can't believe nobody caught this, myself included, when it was posted. $875 a month. That's $10,500 a year for a "2000 jetta golf" no less. Who's ass is this guy trying to blow smoke up. Some people.

yeah, i saw that too.. but i assumed that beacuse he had a "jetta golf" he had done a cut 'n shut on a golf and a jetta and had moronically insured it as a cut 'n shut and so it was conciquently costing him a sh!t load... mucking fuppet.

You seem to be doing just fine as you are. Read what I pay for my insurance and see the difference. I'd like it very much if you'd send the name of your insurance company to me via a private message.
