Help ne1? legal trouble (ne1 who can answer)

ok, i was just pondering something and wanted you people's input. If i get an imported 1998 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 5 gsr, and then convert it from RHD to LHD and get a Catalyic converter, and get a VIN number of a scrapped up Mirage, or Normal Lancer, or North America Lancer Evolution. Do you think i can pull it off, and get my lancer insurance? i know any car expert can immediatedly spot it. But i am talking inusrance and dmv guys, i do not think they can tell the difference from a North American Lancer Evolution 8 from a modified import Lancer 5. So i wanted to know if you think i would get away with it or not? or even make it past the DMV? And another question, any one have any idea how much it costs to convert from RHD to LHD?

you can still get insurance, itle probably just be through the roof, you dont have to go through that trouble, you can import them and have them meat emmissions, it just wouldnt be cheap. and id keep the lhd the way it is, just learn on it, i think id be worth it

Taking a VIN from another car mean....u couldnt sell ur car cuz u obviously wouldnt have a clear title...if u ever got a parking ticket...where they check VIN, LICense plate, it would come in not showing as the same car.....its big trouble....but gl with it
