Question 4 Cylinder vs 6 Cylinder

Hi all. I am looking for a new car and is limited to $25,000. I was looking at the Accord EX-V6 but then I saw the Acura TSX. I want to get the TSX but its only 4 Cylinder. What is the difference between the 4 Cylinder and the 6 Cylinder?
One of my friend told me that it is based on a ratio with the weight. Since the Accord is heavier, they both are about the same.. something like that.
I do not know nothing about car engine so please let me know the Pros and Cons of choosing TSX over the Accord.
Thank yo so much for your time.

Any other car suggestions?

- Ken

It all depends on what you want. My coworker has a TSX and I love it, but I don't like the high revving motors and constantly shifting. The interior is probably the most comfortable I've been in a long time. Even more comfy than my Passat's. It's a snappy car and you definitly have power on freeways, but off the line it's a 4 cylinder. Plain and simple.

With the Accord V6, you get the "headsnap" from a torquey V6 but they seem to fall flat at accelerating at high speeds.

Both cars are very well made and are fun to drive. Not too mention they retain value like nothing else on the road. IMO, if you are looking for more of a driving experience, get the TSX. It's a hard choice though, good luck.

A 4 cylinder has 4 cylinders and a 6 cylinder has 6 cylinders

Obvious power difference and both come w/different yet similar trannies. I know only the new V6 Accord's you can get in stick, not the older ones.

The TSX is a sweet ride, but remember that it is basically an Accord Type R Euro Spec...

TSX - More nimble, more fun powertrain, better interior.
Accord V6 - Faster, more space, takes regular gas.
