I waited on this for a couple of days to see what kind of Americans we have here. Unfortunately I found out. The number one choice is the Star Spangled Banner.

Wow, I didn't think of patriotic music, hymns, or anything like that. That's surprising. (I consider myself very patriotic.)

Yeah, I used to like it even though I generally dislike country music. Unfortunately every time I came back from the desert (15 times from '90 till 00' when I retired) that was the first song they played when we got off the plane and then about every third song after that.

Now when I hear it start I think about what it says but dread having to listen to it. And yes, when my wife comes back from the desert they still play it.
