Audi A6 Question...

Own a 2001 Audi A6 with just under 50k miles. For some reason lately the brakes squeak like crazy when pressure is applied. I asked the Audi Tech and they said sand and grit could get lodged in the pads, however I have the car cleaned along with the undercarriage washed and still squeaks...anyone else with an Audi experience this problem...thanks in advance for all replies

We had a 1997 A4 1.8T and now have 2003 Audi A4 3.0 Cab, and the only major problems were with the exhaust on the 1.8T. I dont think we have had any brake problems though. Sorry!
