welcome rusman, I too live in washington, as do like 2 or 3 others in this forum. I've never seen any skylines either, I'll do some research and see if there's any registered in washington. As for being rare, I dunno if that's what I want. It makes you a target for cops and people alike. Cops will like to know that they pulled over some rich kid driving a fast car, adding a notch to their belt. And people will always be asking you for rides, if they can use it for a date, etc. etc. So, is having a rare car really better?

Rare cars are good and bad...you just gotta have someone who can help you out w/parts or service if something is going to go wrong

I am sure it's nice that you can take an NSX to the Acura dealership...but remember that that's not going to be cheap either. Acura's gotta make money too.

Pros for the Skyline: Rare and unique, lots of gawk factor, turbo tunability, AWD, strong motor, great tranny, good brakes, good looks (IMHO), underrated in power, quick as hell

Cons for the Skyline: Rare parts in the states, # of mechanics who could really work on it are less than the ones for the NSX, could be a target to theft (but who really knows what a Skyline is outside of the car world?)

Pros for the NSX: Handles well, decently fast, good weight ratio, reliable, USA parts and mechanics available

Cons for the NSX: Not so rare, $84k car has expensive parts and service, could be a target to theft

Just my opinion though

an R33 in china town. Whats the point of driving a fast car if you can't take it above 5 mph?

Where the hell is Chinatown in Seattle? There's a section that has some Korean stores in it, but I don't know of ANY "Chinatown." Drive up to Vancouver BC to see a real "Chinatown." Or down to San Francisco.
