8 G's

i want to buy a midsized imoort suv, i'm interested in a 1996-1998 nissan pathfinder, or a montero sport. i have about 8 grand to work with and was hoping some one could enlighten me on what the wise decision is, as well as some ideas for options to hook it up with. thanks

I'd go w/the Pathfinder...the Montero Sport is one of the most dangerous SUV's for rollovers...so dont get it...you'll die

Also consider a Toyota 4Runner from the early to mid 90's...great SUV...I loved mine...

Or...a older Landcruiser...boy those things are eternal...they just go on forever!!!

Yeah either the 4Runner or Landcruisers would be great choices. I know I wouldn't mind any Landcruiser, no matter how old. I know this guy at school with a '92 4Runner. It's a GREAT car! Very solid, durable, and fun to drive around in. Anyway, he put in some Flowmaster exhausts, and that truck was a blast to drive in afterwards. Good luck with your choice.
