What's a good Economy rental car?

Or is that an oxymoron?

I've been able to afford a rental car in the class of the Chevy Aveo. I'm totally unfamiliar with this car so I'm wondering if you all can list others that perform quite well and would be in the same class? Thanks.

I had posted some incorrect info. Ignore this post and pls answer the original question if you know. It's still a "Class A" or "Economy" vehicle I'm looking for.

OMG, don't toy with me my man, the Civic belongs to this class?!?! I am SO there!

My sister had a cute little '98 2-door Civic coupe a few years back. Dark green. She totalled it by yielding left into an on-coming vehicle. I drove it a couple times before the fated day and would be thrilled to drive one again.

My Mom did own a Neon for a minute, there. Then she traded it in for the Accord. This would probably be my second choice. Thank you!
