Ignition Question w/EFI

put a new/used EEC and wire harness the junk yard said it worked when tha take it off of the car,for my 90 mustang lx 5.0 i had a problem with it stall out after flooring the gas padle, and run rich all the time after replacing the coolant temp. sensor, think it will solve my problem, now the engine will start and run at high idle for about 3 second then cut off

I'm just guessing here, but maybe he means... used-- from junkyard but.. new to his vehicle-- in other words, not HIS old one.
Why is it we have to figure out what somebody is saying???
Seems like they would just say it themselves.

It might be bad from the boneyard, take it back get your money and buy a new one or better yet have them both tested to see for sure. Lots of parts stores do testing on electronics for free 'cause they want you to buy parts from them. BTW make sure the chips are the same color.

Dude, did you check out what I told you to? You posted about the MAP sensor earlier and I told you to make sure you have the proper ECM...I'm guessing my advice went right out the window.
