Seat Belt Tickets

Hi All -

If you are like me, you probably have gotten an expensive seat belt ticket even though you forgot to put the thing on, or were only going a hop. I found a very cool and cost effective way to avoid these: [No Promotional URLs]. If anyone has signed up for this, let me know how it worked out.

I wouldn't get a "seat belt ticket" because fortunately I'm smart enough to be aware of the effectiveness of a seat belt. Thus you'll never see me behind the wheel without one.

By the way, nice plug for your website, I hope this thread gets deleted soon.

I received a ticket for no seatbelt about 2 years ago. I was a few blocks from home and had just forgotten to buckle up. I'm in the habit of putting my seatbelt on before pulling out of my driveway...I may forget initially, but I realize it now pretty fast if I haven't.

Fortunately the ticket only cost $20.00 for a first offense here in So. Cal. (and maybe all of Ca.), but the second offense is about $200.00 and a ticket report sent out to your insurance company...ouch!!

About this business of getting a medical waiver...what absolute cow droppings!!

While I disagree with seatbelt laws, I always wear mine. So no, no ticket.

yeah thats what its supposed to do. however, thats not what happens. i used to wear it loose so the buckle would go to the nether regions.

Maybe you're getting the "bus ride stiffy" and it's pulling your !3a||5 up too high...
