Quasiturbine Engines, interesting new engine

Quasiturbine Engine

Found this on How Stuff Works, a new type of combustion engine that looks promising. Here are some of the points taken from the article:

Quote:
Significant advantages of the Quasiturbine include:

* Zero vibration because the engine is perfectly balanced
* Faster acceleration without a flywheel
* Higher torque at lower rpm
* Nearly oil-free operation
* Less noise
* Complete flexibility to operate completely submerged or in any orientation, even upside-down
* Fewer moving parts for less wear and tear

I may need to take another look at that when I'm a little less drunk! But from this position right now, it looks good.

Even though I'm still sore about my own 6 stroke engine design being built by norton before I pattened it

If I can just give anyone one peice of advice or whatever it's this. "it's not how many ideas you have, it's how many you do!!" or something like that??

But yeah, good looking design.

Looks pretty cool. I always love alternate engine designs.

That's pretty sweet, but complicated...I'll have to read that over a few times just to understand what's going on. Also why is there a spark plug, if it's on photo combustion?
